Community Children's Services emerged in the mid 70's during a time of social change where society acknowledged the importance of combining quality care and education for young children while enabling families to take an active role in this process.
Community Children's Services are owned by community groups and organisations and are run as not-for-profit. Any operating surplus generated through Child Care fees goes directly back into the service. There are no owners or shareholders and all monies go home with your child each day through the resources provided and the ability and desire to employ qualified, professional and motivated staff.
Community Children's Services run independently of one another but come together with shared goals and a philosophy that is based on combining quality child care and education with a program that is based on understanding the needs of the child, the family, their culture and the community.
Ashmore Community Children's Centre encourages early learning and child care who provide the foundation for children to develop both educationally and socially in a safe environment while supporting parents into work. Did you know? The Australian Government provides a number of subsidies and programs to help you with the cost of your childcare.
